Working with GTC

The challenge

GTC operates in a rapidly evolving industry, where expectations, regulation and demand are constantly shifting. With ambitious growth plans in place, they needed a brand that matched the scale of their vision and strengthened their position in the market.

BUUK Group plc is the UK’s leading independent provider of last-mile utility networks with over 30 years of driving innovation, efficiency and customer choice. Operating across England, Wales and Scotland, the Group delivers fully integrated utility infrastructure for new-build developments, supporting the transition to Net Zero and future-ready communities. As its flagship company, the new GTC identity needed to signal clear leadership within the sector.

Leaving the existing logo unchanged, the challenge was to evolve their existing brand into something sharper, stronger and more future-facing, giving them the presence and authority to reflect the scale of the business.

 

Our approach

Our long-standing relationship with GTC gives us a deep understanding of the business, its priorities and the demands of a fast-moving sector. That knowledge allows us to move quickly, make informed decisions and deliver work that is right first time.

What we delivered

We took GTC’s existing brand and transformed it into a fresh, energised identity built for growth. A bold, modern colour palette inspired by hi-vis environments gave the brand greater impact and visibility, while a refined design system created a more confident, forward-looking presence, supported by a comprehensive refresh of collateral across print and digital.

To support rollout across the business, we developed a full brand toolkit and detailed guidelines, giving internal teams the autonomy to create materials while protecting consistency at every touchpoint. We also introduced clear iconography and streamlined visual communications to make complex technical information faster and easier to understand.

 

The impact

The new brand gives GTC a stronger platform for future growth, presenting the business with greater clarity, confidence and authority in a competitive market. It creates a more consistent and recognisable presence across every channel, helping build trust with customers, partners and stakeholders. Internally, the new toolkit and guidelines also make communications faster and more efficient, ensuring the brand can scale without losing coherence as the business grows.
